Industrial Batteries

Alright so I'm sitting here thinking about batteries. I looked into the 2150's from odyssey and the stinger. But I was wondering if anyone seen or heard about using the 8d sized batteries. I understand group 31 is one of the biggest that fit in trucks engine bays. But since I don't care about making it fit in my engine bay. Would the 8d sized batteries work.. the particular one I was reading about is the Cat 1500cca 8d. I found a place that has them for 200 bucks. The odyssey is around the same price range, but this thing is rated at 1500 cca and I am sure awhole lot more as the temp increases. They are 12 volts. BUt the only reasone I would think no body uses them is because of their big size.
