Hey guys,

I have a JL 1000/1 and a JL 300/4 in a '03 silverado behind the extended cab back seats. i currently have 8 gauge wire to my distrobution block, then a 4 gauge wire to my 1000/1 and a 8 gauge wire to my 300/4. Why its like this i don't know, the local audio shop wired it. Originally i had a JL 500/1 and the 300/4, then upgraded the 500/1 to the 1000/1 and they just didn't re-run a new power wire. I need to know if this setup is OK for my amps? i don't have my new subs in yet, so i don't know if they are getting enough juice or not, i just know my currently 12W3's sound like crap. i was thinking about getting Stinger power wire probably 0/1 gauge, and really good inline fuse, maybe a digital volt meter thing attached to the battery pos terminal and a new ditro block. The distro block would need to have the 0/1 gauge input, then another 0/1 gauge output for the 1000/1, then either a 4 or 8 gauge output for my 300/4. also, my battery does not have the posts on the top, only the screw in type terminals, so i don't know exactly what i should buy as far as terminals or distro blocks go. can you guys help me out?

you don't need 0/1 gauge to your amps. I have 0/1 gauge from my battery and from my ground to distro blocks and then down to 8 gauge for the power/ground wires on the amps. they are getting plenty of juice too

n2audio, THANKS MAN! that is a huge help. i just didn't know what kind of connectors and stuff to buy.

couple more questions. which distro block should i use? one for power and one for ground? it dosn't list one that has a 0/1 gauge inlet and a single 0/1 gauge outlet as well as the 4 gauge outlet? also, what is the reducer used for? thanks.

lol Knu I figured you guys would have come out with something eventually for those who craze ungodly power.

Oh btw thanks for the order(I order a bunch of stuff from your site). I can't wait to get my stuff.
