BL is the louder of the two, I guess. Q has more lows. SSD is a balanced woofer.

the bl will dig deeper than the q or the ssd. the q is just a good sql sub that gets decently loud, where the ssd is just their groundpounder

btl- comp+/daily depending on model

bl- comp/daily+

ssd- dailly

q- sql

The Q, from my experience, will get lower than the BL. I've owned both. But I don't think I'd ever buy a Q now that they have the BTL n1.

yeah i want it to get loud but have good sq also

as much as i love ia id prolly go with two ssa icon 12s. maybe one 15 zcon, money would be the biggest issue here. i could have two sundown z12s built for around 750 but one of local forum guys. he just take the b-stock/blown subs and rebuilts them

I've had a Q 15. You could run 2 of the 12's. That'd be a good match up for that amp. I love the Q's. I like my BL 18's too, but they have trouble around 26-27 for the output I want. Both are great woofers but unless you are competing I'd do the Q's.

I haven't heard anything bad about the Q, Bl, or Death row. If I had to choose one, it'd probably be the death row. Awesome customer service. Plus I live an hour away from them. The owners also come out to comps sometime!

Either sub you choose, i'm sure you'll be happy!

yep, I had the spider separate from the cone on my warden, so did another guy I know. Then I was talking to a guy at an audio comp a few weeks ago and he showed me what happened to his death penalties, same thing. He also showed me where the glue on the surround is peeling off of the basket. I pulled on it a little and it seriously just lifts off with little to no effort.

Could just be a bad batch of glue, but 3 people having the same problem out of 4 people I know that are using the products is a pretty bad ratio to me.
