First I will say that today I heard the IA DR 18" on a 1900 watt Lightning Audio amp and let me tell you it was very impressive.

Now, to my query.

I'm not sure that amp was pushing 1900 true watts, especially b/c it was the stock electrical system on a Navigator.

My amp (Diamond Audio d6 1500.1) was benched at 1836 watts @14.2V, and I want to be sure the DR will take that power for long periods before I actually purchase one.

idk it is rated at 1000 rms.. i personally wouldnt go over 1500

After hearing that sub I personally don't see how anyone would want 2 18"s and 3K+ for a daily setup... That was maybe 1500 watts and the Navi appeared as though it were about to disintegrate! Not to mention my head still hurts from a 20 second listen...

Made a believer out of me

you might be pushing it. be careful and you can but im talking really careful. depending on the spider pack, it might be achievable. theres higher lines above the DR for a reason.

4 15" dp's would be insane

and yea li's are sweet but i wish they had a cool logo like the dr's and dp's.. i guess they arent cool enough for that lol

^ werd, death penalty will take the 1800rms and **** it in the ***. or you can go with 2 lethal injections?

they do get loud with the right amount of power, but either way you good with any IA sub!!! i really want a 20.1 but i need to sell my nine.5 and get another 4 channel, thats too much work.

I was going to order the 18 DP but I am $13 short in my paypal account and it will take 3 days to transfer it from my bank account...And I don'y have the patience to wait 5 days for my sub
