incriminator audio death penalty 21

im looking at the death penalty 21 inch subs and have a few questions.

its in an 05 f150

1) I have a set of sundown x 18 running off of 3400 watts and will it be worth it to change from there to the 2 death penaltys? same wattage

2)how are they as a daily driver? I want something that can still play music well not just a burp vehichle.

or any other ideas?

from what I understand, they are a decent daily sub, but are geared towards SPL more than SQ ....The Death Row is the middle of the road spl/sq sub. Flatlyne is their best musical sub.

A DR or a DP is what I am going to run in my daily set up here soon ..... Actually looking at a DR 18d2 ....I am undecided as to run a single 18 or dual 15's ....

I was going to run a DP 21, but the deal fell through ...

It can play music well if you design the box with a flat response. However an F150 is not gonna be enough room for two 21" subs tuned for a flat response.

yea, you have to have the air to let them move ..... no air = no bass ...

do you know it takes around 35.4 ft for a 32 hz note to propagate into a full wave ....8.8 ft for the 1/4 wave .... iirc

this is why we used to try and get our subs around 4.5 ft back from the dash/windshield intersect back in the day. A 63hz note takes 4.4ft for the 1/4 wave to mature ....
