Why is it, that a Rockford T1 d2 15 costs between 500-600 bux.

But an Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection is only 280 bux?

They spec out almost identical. I can't hardly believe that the RF T1 is that much better sub. Actually, I don't believe it ...

Unless it is just the obvious, and I already figured that ..... But I actually think, the IA may be the better sub here ....

Thoughts .....

Brand name brand name brand name brand name.
Yea, that's my opinion too. But I could be wrong ......

I have a set of T1 15's in custom boxes, and they do bang. BUT, they sure don't care for much past 800 rms, and get down right pissed if you try and feed them over 1000 .....

they take up tons of box space, like .3 I think, and only have like 16mm Xmax ....

where as the LI's only take up .15 , and have 23mm Xmax ....

Ive got a friend..or rather a guy i know with too much money who has two p3s in a supra on around 1000 watts i think. and they are ******* loud. Zero sound quality but SPL up the ***. Prob has alot to do with the fact its a supra and all. Small cars plus 2 12s will always have high output.

From what ive seen with brand name vs alot of the "underground mainstream" like sundown, fi, and things on SSA store is U. M. companies usually underrate the hell out of their amps/subs. You can throw 1200rms on a sundown sa-12 all day long, Try that with a RF/kenwood/ect Sub. customer service tends to vary. constant R&D from the U. M. companies, Alot of info because the real car audio enthusiast try the U.M. brands and discuss them were they know better than to blow 500 on a RF sub.

Only Mainstream sub companies i tend to hear supported is JBL/JL(are they the same idk, one of two) for their slash amps and w_ series subs. . Alpine for amps/headunits. Can get great prices used. kenwood for their excelon Hu which are good for the money. Ive never heard anyone recommend RF ever unless someone already had them and really wanted to stick to the brand.

on a pure sine wave for 6 hours, the sundown handles its 600 watts. Thats the testing jacob performs to each subwoofer model to get their ratings. They try to idiot proof their woofers. Meanwhile rockford tries to focus on marketing and making the sub look cosmetically good. The sub aint bad but definitely not worth their cost at all.

Lmao .......lol....

Yea, they are not bad. I am not knocking them, othan they are not worth twice as much as the IA, which I feel is actually the better of the two sub's...

Fosgate markets very well and they have fans that will pay anything. The speakers are not good, subs are more useless baskets and plastic than motor, amps are over exaggerated.

How they still sell I have no idea.

The only good thing you can say about their amps is they do rated power. So does alpine and kicker. They lack in function just like alpine and kicker. At least you can get a gain remote with kicker. The 2500 is not making 3000 like everyone thinks.

Don't care about a gain remote since I use a LC-1. Nor is a gain remote the same as a level control. And what function do you want from an amp? IMO the perfect amp simply has a gain control and that's it.

Adjustable sub sonic at least. I've been shown the low lines have them but the top shelf don't. And the horrible efficency at 1ohm. Honestly from what I've seen ZX amps do on the dyno certified and what the birth sheets said I would put a few bucks on them not doing rated certified.

Don't gain remotes and level controls do the same thing? Correct me if I'm wrong

Essentially, but no. And I thought we were talking about RF amps? Where did ZX come into play? And don't ZX's have a fixed SSF? I would go out of my way to avoid that. That's more limiting than not having one to me.
