In need of serious help!!

I am a noob to the car audio scene. So please tell me if what i want to do is ludicrous or not.

My current setup is 50/50 factory and newly bought. 2000 Subaru Legacy.

1: Factory headunit

2: Factory Tweeters

3: Factory maybe 6' Sub and built in amp ( sub blown)

New

1: Sirius starmate 3 ( dont want to lose this if possible)

2: Replaced factory door speakers with four 6.5 pioneer 4-way speakers. TS-A1682R

I want to add these to my car

1: Kenwood KGC-4042A (equalizer)

I really plan on getting just 1 sub and want to mount it directly to the rear deck facing up. Ludicrous or not? Also if possible will i need to cut out my rear deck?

Will go with a box but trying to save trunk space. Since I do have a family.

3: Suggest an amp please........

I really want to hook the pioneer door speakers up to the amp also. Its just not loud enough with the windows down and I can barely hear my satelitte radio.

I no dot plan on entering contests and I'm not into hip hop so the biggest bass is not the most important thing to me. I just want good clean sound.

Also am willing to go with a different head unit if i have too. I just dont plan on getting since i have my starmate3.
