In need of ib sub to fill the hole in my rear deck

I think the biggest I can fit is a 12".

Couple subs I had in mind are:

Kicker cvr 12 (I called kicker and they recommend that sub for ib)

Or

Craigslist in my area has an idq12v.1 for $60

What do you guys think of those?

Other options welcome

A CVR? Really? I would have never guessed they would work in an IB...

Fi sells a line of IB subs. Their 12 is around $200 new

Idmax has been used a few times as well... Or if you have the cash aura subs are great for IB

Yea i have read about a lot of people using a kicker comp but never a cvr.

Are the idqv1s as good as the new ones?

Well i live right near grand rapids so i think ill check it out but thatnks a lot for offering.

Anyone know if 400 rms is all the aura nrt-12 can take? Xmax is 30mm

Boston Acoustics G1 subs will work IB. I also recommend using a subsonic of some sort for any IB system...even the Harrison Labs F-Mods work pretty well.

infinity references worked well IB for me.

biggest thing is you need to make sure it's 100% sealed between your trunk and cabin, if not you will lose bass and it will be sloppy sounding
