In Need of Advice

I'm a bit new to car audio but have been looking around online at speakers, amps, and subs all over the place trying to come up with a good setup for my car (Jeep Liberty '02).

I've decided on the Alpine PDX-5 Amps (Link) as then I could save some space and keep the amp fairly hidden (under a seat or something).

I plan on putting component speakers in the front, and normal coaxial in the back (both 6.5"), but have yet to decide on the specific speakers.

Someone suggested the Alpine SPS-600C Sub to me, but I decided to keep looking around and found 2 subs by Kenwood and JBL that I can't decide between.

The Kenwood KFC-XW1200F (link)

And the JBL GTO1214D (link)

(Not necessarily going to buy all these thing from Sonic Electronix, simply a good site to link to for info.)

The speakers seem about the same to me, mainly the Kenwood has a broader range, 30-700 Hz, but the JBL has a lower range, 23-400 Hz. Other then that they seem to be about the same quality, have the same power ranges, and about the same sensitivity.

Right now I am only looking to put 1 sub in the trunk of my car, partially for space reasons, partially for money reasons, but may eventually upgrade to 2 subs (and of course a separate amp for those subs). Also, I'm not looking to be heard blocks away or anything, simply want a sound that can hit, but is clean and sounds good.

So would either sub be better considering the Amp/setup I'm looking to install or is it really simply a matter of preference? Also, what type of box would be better for each?

Right now I am leaning towards the JBL but not sure.

Thanks for any help

Okay, I'm pretty sure I am going to go with the Alpine SPS-600 for my back doors and the Alpine SPS-600C for the front.

I'm still leaning towards the JBL GTO sub over the Kenwood, just, would it be better to have a sub that can go up to 700 Hz, or is the range on the JBL fine?

Also, as before, any advice on enclosures would help.

I realize it's not an amazing setup, but I discovered my budget is a bit lower then I originally thought it was going to be when I decided to purchase a new sound system for my car.
