In need of a way to cover up my mistakes.. maybe a grill?

I reconed a sub a few nights back (my first recone) and I got some extra glue around the cap that looks pretty ugly. I don't really want to reverse mount the sub. It's a 12" RE MT.... Are there any grills that will accommodate this sub? I would rather not use a bar grill....

I could do that.... but the glue is up higher on the cone than it should be.... and I doubt I can get it off..

next time you put a dust cap on trace the dust cap outer dameter on cone then tack your glue around were you want your dust cap to be

It's a 6 inch dustcap on a 12" sub... it's covering like 70% of the cone.. If I went bigger it would take up the whole thing.

could always do a mesh clothe grill just ave it about an inch above your sub for the flex

It's honestly not bad.. just a bit sloppy and a tiny smear that you can only see if you are very close..

I wouldnt worry about it or I'd make my own grill with an mdf ring and speaker cloth.
