I'm in the same boat, except with a 3yr old and 5yr old. Loss of storage can be minimized by mounting the subs inverted and making the box wide and shallow.I would have done a horn or t line but I'm short on space I'm a single dad of a six year old that I don't go anywhere without

I'm working on a downfiring t-line for a single Sundown e8v4. A buddy bought the sub and I figured we'd try it out and see what happens. Sub downfiring, Port on drivers side facing the front. The sub will be 1.5" off the floor, but instead of firing straight to the floor there will be an mdf loading panel. The reason for that is we're also going to try it out on his Ht system.i like it man. finally someone who understand the physics. you even try loading the drivers? it can work wonders to help tune the driver to better couple to the cars acoustics..
