In need of a serious sub!

like the title says i need a balls to the wall sub. I am running a IDmax 12 right now in 2.5 cubes at 34hz off a sundown saz-1500d giving the sub around 950 watts. its very loud but its on the ragged edge of letting out the magic smoke. I have about 6 cubes of useable trunk space and i also am not afraid to run the amp down to half an ohm as the one i have is still covered under the half ohm warranty. here is some subs i am deciding on. DD 9515(can get a great deal on one), Audioque HD315(not the current model but the new one when it comes out)Or the TC sounds TC-5200 in flavor 15. I am leaning towards the TC-5200 but if someone can talk me into either the DD or AQ then i will go that way. I know i will only be able to give the sub maybe 1800 watts off the single sundown so im either gonna get another and strap it or sell the 1500d and get a 3000d. I am only looking for all out spl but sub must be able to hit the lows extremely well. I am willing to spend upwards of 600 on a single sub so if i can fit a 18 in the bill then i will but it has to take up no more than 6 cubes of space! O also the sub needs to be capable of handling at a minimum of 3kw.

All the subs will take 3k all day,All play lows great.I am not sure about the newer HD3 but I ended up with the AQ and it is great and the cheapest.Cant wait to see how the new HD3 performs.

I'm lovin my HD's. New box is tuned to 38Hz and it hits the lows nicely and SQ is still quite good for music/daily driver. I was afraid it would be too peaky, but no probs.

HD gets my vote, although all 3 subs are VERY nice. Just depends upon what you want to spend.

thanks for all the replies guys. this will be the last subwoofer purchase i will be able to make for a long time, so this subs gonna need to be a cut above the rest if i should add so. I am leaning more between the tc-5200 and the new hd3 when it comes out. like i said im wanting something thats going to do what i want and if i have to pay alot for it then so be it. i have wasted too much money buying subs and selling them cuz they arent what i wanted. IDmax is about 90% of what i wanted but it just doesnt get loud enough for me. so im gonna wait for the new hd3 to come out. if it isnt what they say its gonna be then ill get the tc-5200 but i think the new hd3 is goona be the ticket.

edit... well after thinking it over and looking at all the specs i can go with the tc-5200 in flavor 18 and stay under my 6 cubes that i can use. now i just got a question. if i go with this sub then im gonna have to do the sub up port firing towards the rear. will this work ok?

From what I gathered about the new hd3 today(talked to DJ).It is worth the wait.And he named a price that was unbelieveable!And seeing how u only have 1500 watts the Aq will be happier with that power,butsave ur money and get the AQ and spend the money saved on another 1500d or 3000d.Sounds like that would work out perfect.If u have 6 cubes that would work with both the 5200 and HD3 18"s.Just wait to see the new sub and go from there,u can go wrong any which way.

And about the sub firing,what kind of car is it?

Its a 2003 ford taurus. back seats do fold down but i like to keep them up. I may have this thing fire the port through the back deck. but im not sure! what kind of time frame for the new Hd3? image dynamics is sending me a whole new idmax for the price of a recone so i may just leave it un opened and sell it on here NIB! i tried my idmax sub up port up and lost a little output but not a whole lot.
