impedence issues please help

whats wrong with ported or a single sub. I run a single sub in a ported box. and it gets real loud and sounds great on metal

sucks to know the amp can put out the watts but the setup ****s it all up so there underpowered i just want to knwo if i can run them crazy overpowered and not blow this brand of amp

well that is the **** point man... i want to hear from you about this ****ing shit so i can know what to do, eather way i need to do somethign ebcouse i am not happy and i want it to be out of controle. instead of bad mouthing me try to help me out. you have obviousally have read both threads iv posted. should i just run one in a huge ported box then and over power it or run two in the right sized box( the over sized box still being in spec just top of spec instead of bottom of spec for the two in a sealed box) and running the amp and berth rate of 1600 ( prob around 1200) or should i just stick to a 2 ohm load and be happy with what i got

they are kicker solo baric 12" l7 there rms wattage is 750 rms, alot of people ahve said they can take alot more then that tho but i dont want to put more then the 750 i just dont want to run it at the 500 or less that its at at 2 ohm becouse that just blows ***

have you even hooked this system up?

also ya the L7's can take more than 750 rms. There good woofers. how much space do you have for a box?

ya spend the 250 or see if you can get one used cheaper. strap them and have plenty of power on tap

i got 4.5 cubes for a sealed box for both of them, but i cant fit both of them into a ported box into the trunk

but like i said i just dont feel the full potental of the subs and i can feel and hear that they can do more the electrical sistem is rdy to go and i dont plan on hooking it up wrong as i said i will hook it up to a osiloscope and make sure its right but i need the amp to take a .5 ohm load( if they where 4 ohm dual voice coil this whould be a mute point, but none the less im stuck with 2 ohm voic coils) and i want great output

unless your trunk is really really small you could fit 2 ported L7's. and it would be loud! 4 cubes after port and woofer displacement tuned to about 37hz will be insane

so you think i need to strap two of the hifonic's and port the two subs ( at 4.5 without port) and run them at 1 ohm??remember instane is what im looking for
