Impedance Rise Question...

It is what it is
I want to check out what my impedance rise would be, and I understand it has to be done with test tones. So what I am wondering is do I either test my voltage/amps on a separate tone each time, from 30hzto50hz, or do I use a sweep? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've searched, but nothing is working for me on the new forum. Thanks, Mike.

^ You will need true RMS meters too...

If all you have is a DMM your next best bet is to setup a wheatstone bridge.. all you'll need is a few non inductive resistors and a tone generator.. The DMM should still be true RMS for accurate results..

The DMM is a true RMS meter. Crown, if you want, I can take pictures of both of my meters for reference.... Shoot me a PM if you'd like.

So I did my testing, and am pretty disappointed. My box right now is 1.9cubes tuned to 32hz. With the lowest test tone, 30hz, I pulled 35volts and 18amps. Thats only 630rms, and an imp rise of 1.9 I was wondering if there was a way to reduce my impedance rise, and see at least near 1000w. Perhaps build a smaller box since DC calls for 1.5cubes? I have also read that putting a double baffle in the box can help reduce it as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hope I can figure it out. Thanks, Mike.
