Hello,
I'm seeking some information.. okay, in hindsight that just sounds weird... anyway, I need a little help from the car audio gurus (you guys)!
I've got a 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT, factory head unit w/ XM, OnStar, etc.
I want to take the amplifier and sub that I had in my truck and put it in my car, without replacing the head unit in the car.
I was looking at a part called the AOEM-GM1416, which is supposed to break out the audio output from the system. See PAC AOEM-GM1416 (aoemgm1416) - Factory System Adapters - Sonic Electronix
Does anyone have any advice or ideas?
Summary:
Thanks in advance,
Travis
P.S.; I've read some information about people who have used the GM1416 and the output of the factory speakers dropped dramatically. Any review, comment or advice on this? I won't be changing speakers -- only adding an amp and sub.
