Due to impedance rise (and fall) your amp is all over the place based on what you are playing. Get a 1 ohm stable amp and your problems will be solved.

On a side note, pm me a shipped price for one of your amps. Preferably the one with 4ga inputs. I would like proof that it would function @ 2 ohms though.

i would try to hook it up to just one sub at 3 ohms if it still shuts off then the amp is most likely done for.

but it may just not like the lower load.

if it will run like that maybe get the pair of assassins and see if the amp likes that better.

you might be able to avoid buying another amp.

the amps need to go anyways. the 4g one is the one ive sent in to get repaired , i still have the slip. it says they replaced the '***** coil c4467 s.p terminal'. i would call them and see what theyd say but if it is teh amp itself im sure its something i did running them that low so im not even going to bother.

im looking into a xenon x400.1 , so both of them will be going up for sale soon....hopefully.

Make sure you test them to make sure they aren't totally ****ed and let the buyer know you've been flogging them @ 1ohm before you sell them off.

i have the ground bolted to a support in the trunk that i drilled and scraped away paint to bare metal. 8g amp works fine. im thinking it just got tired of running at 1.5 ohms.

Face it...you ****ed up by runiing it at a lower impedence then the Profiles can handle......profile is an ok budget amp but they will not take a lower ohm load then what they can handle.
