when you say deeper are you refering to actual low frequency extention or just the tone of the woofers? 18s sound "deeper" is what i hear alot when its a matter of the FS,Q and ultimately the alignment.. if you want that DEEPER sound i would go with a lower FS higher Q driver.. check out these woofers...

they sound very "full" and smooth" and "deep" in presence. a single 12 should be plenty output and lowend extension while still sound "deep"
if your concerned with actual lowed extension then ported is by far the way to go, something in the field of the DD 2512 can extended to 25hz with no problem if your box is designed correctly...
seeing as you have 1.9 cubes to work with i would probably recommend the singl RL-s 12 as it has very high xmax decent efficiency and would suit you preferences good.. just pour on the power to her and she will sing beautifully..
