I'm Tired...Deep Bass within Small Parameters

Folks,

I'm Tired!!!

I've posted messages previously of trying to seek the best subwoofer option for my Silerado Extended cab. Given that I'm seeking strong and deep street-bass (SQL???) from approximately 750w-1000w, I'm tired of searching for the perfect sub. I'm faced with a 12" settled in a smaller than optimal box or something smaller in an optimal box.

I understand that most of you have faced the same challenges and opinions varie. However, I would like to get it right from square one for a change.

Please help narrow the search within my current limfacs, to include: 1.9^3 (gross); 1-12", 2-10", 2-8" or 1-10"; no rear seat modifications; less than $500; and xxxxxxxx

Considerations thus far:

1-Digital Design 2512/10

1-Kicker CVX 12/10

2-Kicker 8"L7

2-JL10w6

1-JL12w6

1-JL10w7

The list goes on-and-on. I've never heard a sealed system, attended a db drag, nor have the network of friends that enjoy audio this much.

I've grown tired of rsearch. Please help narrow my search, because as I dig deeper and deeper into the car audio world...the options grow exponentially.

i would probably do a pair of the w6s but honestly it depends on how much port area you have for the 2512... they can do nicely in 1.9 but you need about 45in^2 of port area tuned to 30 for them to kick *** and take names...

louder- yes.................... Sq is a different question. my personal opinion would be 1 jl 10w6 in a ported box. i have heard that setup in a scion xb and sounded great and got plenty loud.

BA SPG555 fits in 1 to 1 1/2 cft sealed, and sounds great. Will work best with the power you're planning to use. Can find them on Ebay for less than $500. No worries about them being used, either. They have replacable VC, that can be swapped between 2 ohm, or 4 ohm. They also have a removable cone/sider/srround. Weigh only 26 lbs. http://http://www.bostonacoustics.com/car/car_product.aspx?category_id=17&family_id=130&product_id=373
if you have the money, these are awesome subs. i wish i could hear an install with 2 of them. 1 was impressive.

i think getting deep bass in smaller spaces is tough
u said u already have an enclosure what size is it

ported or sealed

tell me again how much power
Kicker 10L5 in a ported 1.1^3 (net) enclosure around 50Hz. I bridged two channels of my 600.4 (~250w) to the sub, with the remaining two pushing the highs.
