I'm putting together a complete system.

This is way more bass than I anticipated. I will say though, that there are songs that the sub just wont play. Like Dj Snake -Super Boom... I thought the amp was cutting out, but it actually just doesnt play a section of the song. I figured at 32hz it would play some low notes.
Either the sub needs to break in, or it might be because of a set subsonic filter on the amp. See if you can play the song I listed, that song hits low too.

If anything, I plugged in the specs your box design choice onto an enclosure calculator and played with some numbers and you have some options: You can take out the sub, get a 10" x 12.5 piece of mdf and add it to the port length(use galvanized plates to screw/attach the wood together to test the sound before glueing and adjust port length as needed, longer for lower tuning, shorter for higher) . It'll change you down to 2.3 cubic feet tuned to 28hz with the 10 inch add-on in port length.

Give it some time..That sub just needs to loosen up man. Once it does..youll deff know,as it will get louder and dig deeper..gonna be a good two weeks more than likely..just be patient man

To be honest, I'm not worried about it hitting low. I like it the way it is. It's fun, but I don't listen to any of the music that hits those crazy low notes.

My buddy who helped me put it together wants to get one for himself, he might be into the idea of making it hit lower.

With that said, what does the size of the box influence? What is the difference between a 2cu ft box and a 2.5cu ft box both tuned at 32hz?

The bass line hits all 4 notes BUT the second note is the loudest with the 3rd trailing and the 4th audible but with no impact.

And, where should the low pass filter be set to on this amp? I have it set slightly below 70hz. Should it be a little higher?
Depends on the sub and enclosure. Play some songs you're familiar with that have higher hitting bass notes and bring the LPF up some, see if that unveils any extra music for you.

your subs still has pretty good range, It sounds like its hitting all the highs and its hitting decently low too! Best part, its hitting hard! haha. As long as it hits hard on the music you listen to 90% of the time, thats all that matters. Dont get caught up on the low low bass game, stuff gets boring real quick.
