I have sold my other subs and I want to go with 1 sub. im looking for something that's totally spl oriented. ex. solo-x 18,DD,??? I have a ma audio hk4000d that's putting out about 4500 rms with the voltage im running now. I have 7 cubes available. any help will be appreciated. I have cash but I want you guys to pm me with what you have and a price shipped to 77504. thanks.

thanks for all the replies and yes I got everyones pm's just now. I had 3 15" db drive 15's and I want something that will be comparable. im liking that 9515. is it compareable to a solo-x 18?

Well in SPL with more power the Solo X would be louder but it's not a very efficient sub. Personally I'd run the 9515 over the Solo X that I had. I actually was going to run 2 18'' Solo Xs but I don't find them to be as efficient as I'd like and they weigh nearly 100 pounds a piece. So I said screw that.

There's my old Solo X. It's a decent sub but I wouldn't run one of them again to be honest, DD all the way. In a way the ability to re-cone them in 5 minutes is nice for competing but that's only if you blow them up. Not to mention last time I was trying to get re-cones to the 2007 series cones it was impossible but that was months ago so things may have changed.

im looking for pure spl. im having a new alternator built now that will go up to 18 volts and 320 amps so I will be getting around 4500 - 5000 rms im wanting to compete in stock class at 14.9 volts the crank it up when I go spl. so I want the loudest sub or subs I can find that I can afford.

Them db drives are pretty sick, and you can get them at a hell of a price, I think them and the type r's might be just the way to go unless you want to do the comp shit, I have heard people speaking of getting near the 150s and higher with the R's, and for some reason I rarely see that with a couple of double D's..

The db's arent really for the lows but the higher notes, they go CRAZY!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
