I'm inFInitely Baffled.

As shown in the last pic, I did some vinyl work... if you want to call it that. I really don't like messing with vinyl, but by doing so, I learned that 3M 90 worked best compared to the spray that Raammat sells. It's also easier to use than contact cement, which needs to be applied to both surfaces in order to bond. I also don't have the patience for contact cement.

I also plan to make some beauty pieces to cover up where the baffle meets the door panel.

some pics for the hell of it.

Time for some picture spoon feeding.

My trunk is finished... kinda. an amp needs to be replaced (XS4300). been having bad luck with amps lately.. one channel of my class A went out, PG XS6600 had a bad channel, D'Artagnan in GF's car STILL has a bad channel... POS

amps I originally planned on using:

Swapped out the Class A for an old School PPI PC4channel. no pics tho.

I'll have to switch out the XS4300 for another 4 channel..

Finally screwed down my rear Ba++ery

Ghetto wire mgmt, but I don't care, the false wall will hide all of it.

Shit was changed around after the PPI was put in. The whole amp rack is designed to be taken out after ground, power and speaker wires (via barrier strip) is disconnected.

the blue tube you see in the background is actually connected to an interior A/C duct to carry cool air into the trunk.

Wow it was soooooooooo clean till you showed the wiring.... wiring = fail. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

it was the only way I could think to save space and to make the rack removable. shit as long as it works is secured enough //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

since you posted that, I now have to post up my false wall that shows NO wiring

^^will be replacing idq8s for midrange duty 315-1.8khz

something I made for my new toy:::

I used some grills I had left over from a set of Mach 5 MLi6s. They almost fit the outer diameter of these Exclusive 7"s

and all I needed were these:

and scissors

I wrapped the panty hose around the grill, superglued, and then added a right of open cell foam for a snug fit on the recessed baffle.
