ignorance is believing that because a few abused , mistreated , mislead animals commit unatural acts, that every other animal of that breed and type will do the same. Its biased , do you want to detroy every Federal Employee because of a few crazed postal workers ? Use some logic, animals are not mindless machines most animals are smarter than the majority of our population. There are consequences to imporperly raising an animal, just as there are to improperly raising a child. Killers are created, their creators should be the ones you have a problem with.

We had two pitbulls down the street that attacked a neighbors cat, I was able to take care of those dogs one day when the owner was at work but unfortunately a poos lady lost her cat of 13 years too soon.

That is quite possibly the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. Only a small percentage of Pits are vicious and the few that are were raised to be that way. It is not just built into their DNA, and what right do we as humans have to "destroy" another other animal on this planet? We own a Chow Chow, a breed that is supposed to be very protective and vicious towards other people. Our Chow is the sweetest dog you will ever meet and that is because we raised him in a good environment with plenty of love. Mean dogs are a product of the way they were brought up.

As I said there are going to be a few bad apples in every breed but pit bulls are all the same, trust me I am a Lieutenant Dog Officer with over 4 years under my belt, before that I worked at Petco so I know my shit.

There are just some things as much as you don't want them to be true they are.

I think Vick should have gotten an award for his canine work. Not only did he help cut down on the pit bull population he also allowed them to play with each other for a little while before being laid to rest.

My sister has a pit. He isnt mean at all. He loves people and loves to be pet. He even great around her 4 year old so its owner dependent. We also picked him up as an abandon dog so his life wasn't perfect

I breed and sell APBT Blues' AKC certified for over 10years and have been raised my entire life around "pits" so believe me I know what im talking about. So you are a policeman ? so we should destroy u because of every other crooked no good cop in the world ? or maybe u r crooked and no good also, and dont deserve the benefit of the doubt. I know it must **** to be a cop and be force fed all the ugly, inhumane, acts/people of the world on a daily basis. While your completely ingorant statements are funny , on a serious side those are the kinds of things im talking about, uneducated, uninformed, prejudices(minus the cat thing). You should have put "that all pit bulls are the same" in the list with the rest . You also left alot of different races out of your mass of ignorance . . .

Pits are different in that the dog itself is the problem, the owner can do all the right things and eventually one day the dog will still snap and eat a baby
