i'm a fatty

How's the bowflex compared to free weights in your opinion? I see the commercial all the time, but the way things are today some stuffs hard to believe. With all the marketing bullshit out there these days and everyone out to make a quick buck.
Bowflex has been selling these for awhile now. It is resistance weight, so is a little different and supposed to be better on your body. I think it is pretty decent, but way too much money. I spent 1700 smacks on this and when I was motivated I was using it 4-5 times a week at 1 hour at a time. So was losing weight, but also eating better as well.

It has worked for me for the most part. I started at 285 when I got to this and went down to 245. So lost 30 pounds on it. I need to get amped back up though as I haven't used it in a least a month. Dam fiance puts all her clothes on it and next too it, so I would have to move everything to just work out on it. Working out and moving her shit is just overboard!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

So yes and no. Have lost weight on it, but for a hefty price. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I guess a gym membership added up over the years could cost just as much, lol! I got this as I don't have time to go there as I watch my baby while I work out. Is quite comical to hear her copy me when I groan in pain due to my back always hurting. Free weights hurt my back a lot more though.

Good luck losing weight...

I drank a gallon of water ate no grains and had fruit cups all day (like 4) and a piece of grilled chicked(seasoned works)

at the gym run.. or if not run spend 30mins to an hour on the elliptical at the end of the work out.. aim for a high heart rate at the end of the workout.

and don't do heavy lifting for a while just focus on abs and lean mass building excercises.

the real questions is..how did u get so fat?
Well I became disabled because of degenerative disk disease and a joint disorder and now I just lay around and take lots of meds that increase my appetite, but really I have always been a big guy..I was like 6.1 and 318 pounds in high school when I played football..I'm 1 of 10 kids(8boys 2girls)and im the only fatty in my family. Well there are others that are overweight but not as much as me..

im gonna put a geustimate out there, 375 or 425 lbs

I might have to check one out. $1700 is a little steep for me but I'll check ebay, might be able to catch a deal. Hopefully I'll find somebody that bought one or got it as a gift from their spouse. Used it a few times and got tired of it quick, that wants to get rid of it and needs some cash.

I would sell mine, but you cover shipping and 1000 smacks, lol!

PM me if you are interested. Pratically brand new. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
