Wow surprising answers in this thread. I never run red lights. Sometime when I get a short arrow its a close call or by accident.

I would assume most of us who have said we do, do it safely. By safely I mean stopping, looking and making sure no one is coming, making sure there aren't any cops watching, then going. That's what I do. As I said before, I only do it late at night/early in the morning. And I'm going to keep doing it until I get caught. There's no point on waiting for 5+ minutes late at night when you can clearly see that no one is coming.

Yea im surprised by all the people who claim to run red lights so regularly lol...

Nobody around here runs them on purpose, ever. Even @ 2am+. Everyone stops @ them. Are you really in that much of a rush to not be able to wait an extra handful of seconds?

Im from California. I stop then pass through right turn red lights all the time. All the other ones (even at 3 am) I wait for green.

I only run reds at 3 in the morning or if im about to catch a red and theres no camera at the light n im pissed...

Haha, come to the Detroit area. You'll be lucky if you catch someone stopping at a light during the day.

I once accidently ran a red light. Friends distracted me. Lawl. I blew the horn at the person that turned in front of me and it was my fault. I felt so bad.
