If you needed 4k watts????

I am looking for a serious monster amp to power 2 12's for daily. First for my electrical to make sure what amp is suggest my electrical can handle it.

Electrical

ATM stock 130 alt, will be a 200 amp power master 125 at idle or 250 mechman alt 100 at idle. Figure the powermaster would be best since it does alot at idle. Big 3 done. 1/0 ground and power to the back battery spv70. Front battery is a gold duralast will upgrade to HC1400 if needed.

I am looking to run 2 12's BTL's, RD alpha's, MX, MT, level 4XL, DD, something that can handle 2000-2500rms.

So for an amp. I need something efficient, that does rated power or more at a true 12 volt rating not 14.4 volts. Want something that has been tested and clamped in real world testing. My budget tops is 800 shipped. the lower the better of course. I want a min of 3k watts but 4-5k watts would be better or w/e my electrical can handle

so what would you say

2 kicker zx 1500's

Need it to be efficient and do lots of power, what can my electrical handle once i get a HO ALT and battery upfront. Whats the price range of your suggested amp as well

D9 is in excess of 1k, if I'm not mistaken. They're hard to find used, as well.

And 2500.1's come around for 400-450 shipped each time to time, just gotta have an eye out.

Could also consider an MM4000.1 or, reasonably, two AP30001D's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Like 750 shipped for a pair bnib and they're supposed to do rated power.

yea would rather have one amp to mount and dont have much room anyway for an amp, as well as a PITA to set the gains on the amps for each sub you know.

How would a autotek 4000.1 do??

It would do fine and give you the power you want...they're decently built amplifiers, at least.

I want a HO alt that does alot at idle need it when i am not driving fast and needing more voltage. mechman alt is 500 compared to the powermaster for 300. I think powermaster is worth the money savings for 25 more amps at idle

Well at stop lights and such I will be bumping prob not full tilt. Also is that extra 100 amps worth that 200 bucks difference. Being as i dont get the 125 at idle and only 100 at idle.when you are sitting you need alot at idle and same with when you are demoing or doing a test run on the TL

ok I have another ALT thread get this back on what amp for 4k or close to it for the best price and best efficiceny.
