If you had 20-30k, what CAR would you buy???

I'd stay away from buying used "high performance" cars like the previously mentioned EVO and STI and such. You know the previous owner most likely beat on it like hell. I had 22K to spend on a car this past summer, then I thought twice, and decided I was being stupid. I bought a 2002 Toyota Avalon for $11775 with 70K miles and it's all I need and more. And it's tough to beat Toyota's reliability //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Also, have you thought of leasing? May be a reasonable alternative if you absolutely want a 20-30K car instead of throwing it all away. And free maintenance is always nice.

2007 Mazdaspeed3 would be my choice.

Fairly quick, and still practical. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so did you answer if this was cash or financed?
If its cash, id personally buy 3 different cars, so you have a vehicle for whatever you choose to do.

Buy an older F250 with the 7.3 4X4 to tow/haul/mud in.

Buy a older accord coupe (99-2000) for a daily beater to get gas mileage with

then buy a 2001 TA WS6 as a toy, or if you want luxury snag a older (again, 99-2000) caddy STS/SLS/deville.

/ thread.
I have an 01 accord coupe v6 and the gas mileage SUCKS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

if your gas mileage sucks then

A) you need a tune up, bad maf/map sensor, 02 sensor, air filter, tire pressue etc etc. something is up...

B) you need to change your driving habit

C) you are exagerating and dont even know what bad gas mileage is. i get 18-19 on the freeway, and 13-14 on the street in a 165hp (to the freaking flywheel) explorer. try doing that with gas @ $3.10 a gallon. hell there are people getting worse than that out of other cars.

I bought my Tacoma Quad cab for $30,000 with tax title and extended warranty....It is loaded with everything....Plus it come with 17's from the factory....JBL 6 disc indash CD changer...full airbags...in seats and roof...mine has the sport package with the factory hood scoupe...color matched bumpers and beefed up suspension with the heavy duty towing package.....You probally can get a base model for around $25,000...plus it gets about 20+mpg with the big 4.0 V6

I've already got my dream vehicle...

2006 Silverado Z71 Crew Cab

It has a grill guard now, and as soon as I get a little more money set aside it'll be getting a 6" Suspension lift and 35"s

Edit: I bought it for 28k (including tax, title and license) with 12k miles on it.

get rid of that horrid grill.
the rest looks nice. and the srt 8's are quite quick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Each to his own. I like the grill. I think it looks better than the OEM, and too many people have the "Bently" style grill.
