id buy a 2500hd chevy or gm, desiel, do a bunch of desil upgrades lift it a ft. or two, and put some 22-24'' rims with big mudders on it...

For myself .. i would get a MR2 low mileage, a Subie 2.5GT, 2006 Corolla XRS, Or the new Accords used.. and possibly the new Altima 3.5S

As for car, either an 08 STi or a dodge charger, depending on your style

But, if i had 20-30k to spend on any vehicle, it'd be a brand new 4door Sierra 1/2 ton.

If its cash, id personally buy 3 different cars, so you have a vehicle for whatever you choose to do.

Buy an older F250 with the 7.3 4X4 to tow/haul/mud in.

Buy a older accord coupe (99-2000) for a daily beater to get gas mileage with

then buy a 2001 TA WS6 as a toy, or if you want luxury snag a older (again, 99-2000) caddy STS/SLS/deville.
