I guess you are smarter than me because you treat this one specific example as if it were an everyday occurance, rather than the anomaly that it is.

 

Why did I get in the middle of this? I guess I didn't realize you're the type of guy who isn't going to change his mind, just get more mad the longer we talk about it and use phrases like "I guess I need to expand on the basics for you" and "get outside more often" to make yourself feel better.

I believe the tone was initiated by you when you decided to ask me if I'm pulling things out of my *** - somehow I didn't manage to find that too funny - can't imagine why.

The comment made earlier is that UTP is superior to shielded in unbalanced configurations - this allegation is bologna at the least. The audiblity factor may not be present, but that in no way makes UTP superior to shielded cable in any instance.

I don't get online often anymore, so it's hard to discern the individual attitudes present on all the forums I visit.

Yeah I know what you're saying. The majority of the forums I go to people are so short-tempered and look for any reason to argue and ***** at people. Sometimes it's hard to get out of that mode when I come here. There are a few people like that on this board who like to push people's buttons, but for the most part people here are pretty cool.
