the rms for an amp be the same? and what if i have two of those subs? and what about the speakers? do i need another amp for them that sends the specific wattage to them????

yes, usually try match the rms power handeling of the sub to the rms output of your amp, if you get a second sub, you'll need more power

you can go over or under. i would get the best amp you think you can find. shop around for the best deal with something that will have close or more than the rms you need.
