Somebody name ONE thing better about an Explorer than a Jeep.

More hp? Nope

More torque? Nope

Better Fuel Economy? Possibly, but I could get just as good if I drove like a grandma

Better offroad? Nope

More aftermarket availablity? Nope

Better reputation? Nope

Now, I don't want to start a pissing fest here because I know everyone has their opinion.

Explorer is a ford, enough said.

Only thing bad that I can say about Chrysler/Jeep is the fact that they like to use Torx bolts.

how is ease of installation? gas mileage? whats your overall opinion of the vehicle?

Go retro and do a full-sized van up with walls of speakers and racks of amps! Put in the overhead console they had back in the 70's and you can slide in a ton of signal processing, switches and such. Graphics, mags, trick windows and such to complete the package.

That was the dream back in the day. As a commercial says, respect the VAN!
