I know this is known as a SQ sub but with the proper enclosure (obviously) can this thing get pretty loud?? I am lookin for SQ but still would like to be heard from time to time?

Its been popularly classified as a "supersub" Which, by popular definition, are beastly SQL subs.

Yes, it's an SQL sub. Linear displacement wise, it's pretty even with something like the Rl-p and only 1db or so behind something like a W7.
