Identify this TC sub

TC Sounds 15" subwoofer - eBay (item 330525698177 end time Feb-07-11 12:02:03 PST)

Looks like a sound splinter rl-p to me. D4 voice coils and what looks like a tc9 motor but the cone looks different then any I've seen on a tc sub. Anyone have any ideas?

Well I bought it so I'll get some better ones when it gets here lol. Hard to see with the boot on but looks like only a double stack motor, no 3hp I don't think

Definitely looks too small to be a TC-9 motor, so no Rl-p.

Who else did tc make subs for? I know of eclipse soundsplinter LA and Orion but it looks like none of those except the rl-p?

I had one of those... there was someone hawking about 3 dozen of them about 4 or 5 years ago... TINY itty bitty motor... they are from TC.. but its not a standard motor.. if its what I think it is.. it is WAY smaller than a TC 2+... like 1/2 the size... or even smaller... mine had a "frost" aluminum cone with a "brite" aluminum dustcap... single 4ohm...

heres mine, motor seems close to same distance form outside of spider landing, that may be a TC2 based 15 instead of the 2+ but with the pic quality it's hard to tell, ebay woofer has 6 spoke frame, mine was a 12 spoke, surround looks foam on ebay opposed to rubber but I figure it's just a variation of the AV15, prob oem'd for somebody as HT woofer
