identify this recone please.

ordered a standard copper hdc312 recone. this is what i got

compared to my old aluminum multi spider config.

(new recone on right, obvious height difference)

(old coil)

the coil windings are much much smaller also than the aluminum flat wound windings.im pretty sure this is an sdc2.5 recone what do you guys think? thank you.

SDC2.5 is 2.5" coil so no its not that.

It's a completely different coil and spider assembly. Were you expecting it to look the same?

DD changed their softparts as well, including the coil dimensions. I did not notice a difference in performance.

just that the coil windings were remarkably different and the spider assembly was a bit more sparse than what i suspected.
