you ordered a totally different setup if you ordered the standard copper and you had the aluminum spl version one is designed to be more musical one is designed to take more power hence more spiders and it has a tighter gap for higher spl but not as smooth a bl curve

This. They're priced pretty cheap compared to most other good stuff, so it's bound to get picked up by a lot of noobs who are looking to get loud on a budget. I have no problem with AQ stuff, as I have seen HDC's and SDC's take some abuse in the lanes.
