Ideas on a Custom Box

I shouldn't have to tell someone who's been on this thread for 6 years, with about 7.5 thousand posts where to find a good amp. LOOK AROUND!! On the internet, in stores, under a rock, I don't really care where you find them, but they are out there.

There are plenty differences between quality products and stuff that will rattle your rims off but the *IDEA* that I am thinking of would do the second one and still have quality to it.

You're telling someone to look around and the only beefy subs you know are Type ARGHS? Look at the ones I posted man, lots of good stuff there.

As far as amps... there's this 3k Mmats: 2012 MMats M3000.1D - Car Audio Classifieds

If you could find another one of those at that price you'd have a phenomenal 6k...

here's a DC 7.5k for $1400, pretty good deal: Like New DC 7.5k - Car Audio Classifieds

Certainly nowhere near the 3 or 4 grand previously mentioned. but still not cheap by any means.

Yes, I told someone to look around. I have. One thing I haven't looked at is the subwoofers themselves. I found a 15inch Type R for cheap and I bought it. It's a nice sub, but by no means did I even think that it was "Top-Notch."

And yes, audio equipment is always going to be changing and things will get better. That is where you have the possibility of finding a good product.

I know where to find high-quality equipment for a bargain. It's simply that every time I've seen equipment that claims to put out the power you want for the price you're claiming, it's been a junk brand that's highly overrated. Now, you could probably get some quality stuff used for what you'e talking, but new with warranty? I don't think so.

As for your explanation of T/S parameters. The issue is that you didn't show that you knew what they are. You simply cut and pasted.

Only reason I mentioned those prices was because I was looking at brand new equipment. You could easily do it for 1/3-1/5 that if you're willing to buy second hand.
