I am 17 and really need some more cash for my hobbies. I get bored when i don't have anything to do with either my computer or my car, so this is why it's here. I am good with computers (espcially building and troubleshooting). So, with that in mind, except for computer repair, what are some good ways to pick up a few extra bucks here and there?

You dont need a A+ certification to do personal services off craigslist or local ads. The cheaper you start then later you can bring prices up, but have warranties in place.

Also web hosting and server administration can all be done remotely, just learning it and offering your services on places like wjunction.com or webhost forums.

You can start a web host (the ghetto way) with 30$ a month or even 10$ a month and earn 100+ a month using reseller accounts. It is ghetto and very cheating way, but people earn livings this way.

Yeah, I don't live in the best part of town so I don't feel safe with Craigslist people honestly. I have thought about webhosting, but I like the hardware sttuff more.

Get a job at Winn Dixie or Walmart. Pretty sure they still hire at 17. I unloaded trucks at walmart as my first job.

I wish. I earn my own money. Except the necessities of life, I pay for everything.
