That *****, maybe a diff restaurant where you have a higher chance to earn tips (that is if your a server) or maybe talk to them about a raise if you've been there awhile, or talk to the peaople that have been there longer and see if they would be willing to work with you and maybe give a day or something

Not many jobs for highs school students pay more.
I make $9.00 an hour at my summer jobs before taxes, which is 75 cents more than minimum wage. However, one is a field worker pollinating/detassling corn and the other is a farm hand at a horse stable. Both are way harder than working at Kmart in air conditioning, lol. The jobs outside are more fun though, and I get really tan

Ive been doing construction for almost 2 years now and i wouldnt change it for a kmart job... Unless kmart was paying $13hr lol

The people who have been working there since they used to give raises are making $11 actually. Managers make more than that.

what you can do is realize your fucking 17 and your parents rule your life and you just have an excuse for everything so drop the "hobbies" and save your money. your only other option is tell your parents fuck off or you yourself fuck off outta there lives. thats honestly your only 2 plays because as i said your just giving an excuse not to do something when someone states an option. your only 17 man you dont NEED a job. its like all dumb ass young people here in la, the say their broke and have no money but they wearing some fresh ass kicks and got the latest smart phone. well no shit you don't have money you got your priorities all fucked up. And i turned 22 this month so I'm a young one too but i got my priorities straight.

Fresh kicks are number one priority.

Then comes car audio, and hard drugs, then food/bills/housing/transportation.

Gotta have an Iphone 7 the day it comes out too

Young kids are soft these days. What happen to the hustle? Ask your female friends if they want to make extra money. Sell them to your male friends. Helps if you can get them addicted to a drug first you can supply them.

Seriously. Mow lawns, do yard work, wash cars, most of your neighbors will let you do the tasks they don't want to do if you are cheap enough

Yea, I mow the neighbor's lawn too, because they're really busy. $10 each time, for a little more than an hour's work

thats what i use to do and wash cars every friday i washed 3 cars, 15 a pop with full vacuum and smell good though, and then i mowed 2 lawns on saurday morning. that was $65 every week and in was more than enough. your 17 and have a car man, what more do you want?

Gary i introduce to you the 90% of generation X that will make the world a horrible place. Lazy, no work ethic, and want everything handed to them. Oh and they complain about everything and sue if they dont like something. Im part of the lucky 10% that was able to break away from the bad habits. And adulbirch seems like he has a good head on his shoulders as well.... Yup the world is doomed.
