Verrryyyyy beefy...hits the lowzzzz and gets ear bending loud. Can take a beating and still survive...haha i run mine at about 475 watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also, the SQ is UNPARALLELED! If you choose to ignore my advice, you might hate yourself! lol!

i had a 12w6v2 and IDmax and both were great subs but i think the w6v2 had a better range in SQ both were powered off a alpine v12 600. The only reason i got rid of the w6v2 is because i sold it with my old car and got a 10w7 out of the deal. If i were in the market 4 another 12" sub id go back to the w6v2 over the ID, dont get me wrong the ID was great but it left something to be desired.

All are awesome subs, but for the price and what you are looking for, I would do the IDq.

where ever you heard that the IDQs don't get loud they must have some problems. i run 2 IDQv3 12d4 in a 2 cubic foot box each getting one cubic foot. ran off a ID Q1200.1 and it gets crazy loud.

300-500 watts I have heard the originals and the v2 sound awesom with less power than that.

A brand new Fi Q is $244 before shipping. I don't know what your budget is, but that could be an option.
