Icon 12" Ported Box

I do like slots for the added structure bracing but I will draw an aero port box in sketch up at 2 ft^3 and I will just order enough pipe to make 4 lengths of pipe for 28, 30, and 32 maybe a 34 and post up some pics when I am done to see what you guys think.Gary, if you don't mind me asking, how did it do on notes above 50hz?

Above 50hz it was OK

Cabin gain is going to have a pretty good effect on that,for me it peaked at 42hz

I will just build the sealed box for now. If I feel it is lacking in any way after trying different orientations I will come back to trying ported. Maybe it is because I am a hands on kind of guy, but there is something about having a box that is designed and built all by you. I know it won't come out perfect the first time, take a couple attempts, and probably cost more in the end. Maybe I am weird that way. It is just really a skill I would like to learn. On a side note though I have been following CSCStang on fb and WOW those are some absolutely beautiful boxes coming out of his shop.
