IB Setup Running 2 8''s?

Hey all,

I have really fallen out of car audio, but I want to somewhat get back into it. I currently have a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, with an Alpine PDX600.1 with a JL W6 10'', in a sealed fiberglass box. I forget who made it, it came from Canada. Anyways, I want a little more thump, and want to do somewhat of a stealth enclosure. Amp mounted in the trunk on the side, everything sueded, VERY clean install. I have been reading online about being able to put 2 8'' subs in my rear deck (They come stock) and I was also reading about how certain subs are IB capable. Does anyone know of any subs off hand that are 8'', and IB compatible..? Something that isn't going to break the bank, but still bump pretty good. The JL for some reason isn't hitting how I would like it to, I think I might have something up with the install. If you use a sub in the trunk and want to add the 8s for more bass it wont work they will move down and sub in trunk would also be pushing on them. If I was you I would look at running proaudio 8s for more midrange mid bass then sub type of bass.

Unfortunately, when it comes to infinite baffle subwoofers, cone area is your friend. Don't be shocked if you have WAY less output with a pair of 8s mounted IB compared to your 10 in the sealed enclosure. Now if you were going with something like the AE IB or the Fi IB 15" offerings, then you would more than likely be happy.

Or look into the possibility into fitting 10s instead of 8s.

All of ID subs are IB capable.
