Well if it helps at all my 12" IA Flatlyne is rated for 750 and I have been giving it 900 daily for over 6 months and it's not even phased. It will take more without a problem. Of course these are different subs but its all the help I can give!

well I'm lookin at the DP but I'm gettin an aq3500d.1 soon and basically I'm just curious if it'll handle it

Ask Rio, he's knows everything about IA. He has always answered any questions I had. I think that's all he works with for his builds plus he could probably get you the best deal of you go to buy.

The new DP has tremendous thermal capacity.

Yes the new 6axis motors have lots of cool. I wouldn't think twice of putting upwards of 3k on one

im sure it can handle it but im not sure how long it will tho....just keep an eye on that clipping indicator and im sure the woofer will last until u wanna upgrade .... ia well handle almost anything unless its clipped to death

The new style DP's are taking mad amounts of power for daily.

 

Tall 4 layer flatwound coil, combined with the 6 Axis cooling has made for a beastly sub!
