IA 20.1 vs. Orion 2500- head to head matchup

Hmmm, and I can get 2200-2300 on the same 18volt system outta a 1200d @ .5ohms, something just doesnt seem correct about your figures. How much did you see from an MA HK4000 on 18volts @ .5ohm?

You can take my numbers for what they are worth to you... personally I only use the numbers I get from the same voltage and current meters I've been using for the last 5 years. When I want to compare an amp against something I've tested in the past I look back at the numbers I got, not what someone else said they got. I go by the saying, "I dont beleive it till I see it". So if you find discrepencies in the numbers I have listed then that is fine with me... I only use the info I've tested myself aswell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif If it helps you reference your numbers to mine, I get about 3600-3800 clean on the average MA 4000d.

I go the the same saying hence why I asked you the question. I wish I could keep my meters that long, I have been through 3-4 clamps in the last year or 2 (either broken or stolen) I have a new set of meters yet again so I hope I can keep these around, lol. Maybe I need to stop bringing em to shows me me and keeping a set at home. By the way, The difference between your results and mine between the 2500d and 4000 are right on par just a lil diff #'s but the difference is the same. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I rather go by db reading though when testing outr amps, see what works best for me.

Inhuman - I have the numbers if you need them, im only up to page 8, so if you found them forget about it (moe sent me a pm awhile back)

Toolowtogo - Drive to my house between now and jan 8th and we can test head to head, i would drive but no insurance on car

not trying to diss anyone but scottie is not going to say a different brand that he is not sponsered by is more powerfull then a brand he is sponsered by. i know not anyone with half a brain will diss their own company like that.
ok... dont come on here saying what I will and wont say... Did you think I wouldn't come back and read this thread? I have never attempted to mislead anyone about what kind of power or capabilities any of the products I use are capable of... sponsored or not. All I have provided in these threads are indications of what kind of power I have seen from certain amplifiers. If someone comes to me and wants to know how an amp I use stacks up to another brand I will tell them what I have found and nothing more. Dont attempt to make it look like I will say that the brand I use is the best just because I use it. The fact is I choose the brands I use for a reason... and those reasons may not necessarily be because they are the most powerful. In fact if you knew enough about me you would know that I was sponsored by DEI for about a year and a half and have had my opportunities with any of the products they have available. It is not my responsibility as a sponsored competitor to blow smoke up the publics *** about the products I use, and that is not why my sponsors have chosen me to represent their companies. If you feel the need to drag my name down in the future please dont preface it with "not trying to diss on anyone" just say what's on your mind, but please try to think before you type, or keep me out of your discussions!

its stupid to belive someone who is sponsered. no matter who they are. can be anybody. in the contracts ive read from manufacturers you cannot put down their product in public. theirs no discusion to it, its the facts. you dont see drag racers who are sponsered by miller saying another brand taste better even if its true or not. im not saying what you said is untrue. could be true ive never played with the ia 20.1 and probably wil never play with it. but a sponsered competitor is the last person i would listing to or ask if the product they run is better then a product their currently not sponsered by.

of corse i knew you would come back and read it. thats why i posted it. not just for the newb that reads all the bs hype about products its so that you know that not everyone is as stupid as you may think they are by you wining a couple of world champion ships aint gonna make me believe everything you say.

ive noticed in dbdrag 99% of people are full of bs. "oh im gonna do certain spl number" "oh these subs are louder" etc. ive even said i would do a certain number when i really coudlnt do it. im just letting all the new people who are reading this not to belive everything you read. to try it on your own. use common sense. like you think a 1800 watt amp is actually gonna do better then a 6500 watt amp? highly doubt it...

OMG... is it too much to ask to get an intelligent response? You are showing your true experience... I would venture to say that all of the people reading this thread are intellegent enough to make there own decisions without an 18 yr old, 1st year competitor telling them what to think.

Like I said before... feel free to express your opinion about anything you "think"... continue to spread the wealth of knowledge you have gained in your 1yr of experience, but keep my name out of it. In two posts you have managed portray me as a dishonest "salesman"... I do not appreciate this at all, especially from someone of your experience and reputation. Please see your way out of this conversations as you obviously have no idea what you are talking about... kthxbye!

now i see why another thread was started.....people debating over something neither have ..and one of the party who has never touched it is claiming its better....dam..i really hope this thread dont turn to shit
