IA 20.1 questions.

Picked up a 20.1 one this past week and put it in today. I tryed to set it with a DMM playing a 50hrz tone but i could only get 5volts out of it. That was with the gains ALL the way up plus the bass remote cranked. I finally gave up on that and tuned it by ear. So after all that i had to set the gain at 3/4, the bass boost at 3/4 and the remote all the way up to get some satisfaction out of it. Anyway i got a JVC headunit right now and have no clue on the pre-out. I have a linedriver coming this week to see if that makes a difference. I can only turn my cd-player up to about 21 because the door speakers are shot. This isnt my car btw:laugh: So anyway today after my fuse holder didnt come in the mail i had to use one of my maxi holders only rated for 80amps. I figured i could have some bass until i get my anl one. They call for a 200 amp on the IA, but it didnt blow my 80amp fuse? The amp isnt even really getting warm so im wondering what factors might be going on. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions, thanks.

Yeah i just think its strange that i have to have the gains up that much and it isnt blowing an 80 amp fuse. Its loud though believe me but i know it can do more than that.

Nope i just had my lpf set wrong. Im used to older amps and this one has the subsonic. I was focusing more on that because it was new haha. This is the first new amp i have owned in probably 8 years believe it or not. But rev set me up, thing just pounds. Skips my cd-player constantly
