IA 20.1 / IA 40.1 Questions

as long as you have the electrical for it, i've heard that the IA20.1 could go as low as 0.35 each for daily, so about .7 strapped. But i'd prefer a single 40.1 due to price, size, and just basically not having to drop it that low.

if you get dual 2, then that's 2 dual 2ohm subs, that would mean you would go as low as 0.25. That's pretty low.

Let me see what the wiring config. are 8, 1, 0.25 right? So i don't know how you can power two XXX with your amp choices. Assuming that this is the 2006 XXX, which i've heard needs a lot of power.

Well I already have one 20.1 so I was just going to use it in my truck but I can get a good deal on a US Amps MD3D right now so I was thinking of picking it up running it in my truck then buying an additional 20.1 for the other car. The car will have a 160 amp alternator or there abouts, a yellow top and an additional battery (Kinetick 2400). I was told that I would probably get enough power out of two 20.1's at 2 ohms to power two '05 XXX's.

i have a pair of 40.1s that i compete with. i have ran them strapped at 1 ohm with the subs in pvc tubes.( the tubes reduces the imp. rise). i have also ran them individually at .5 in the same setup. they produced the same #s either way. we have ran a 40.1 at .25 in another vehicle at sbn and it performed flawless.(now these were burped)
