I could change my subs. But they were a gift. I dont want to just take them back

I totally understand..

but the reason why changing subs has been brought up is because by doing so you'd be able to compete in Street Stock instead of Street A.

Big difference between the two classes and also if you were to compete in Street Stock you could run your 20.1 amplifier instead of having to get a bigger amplifier to even be somewhat competitive in Street A.

Believe me its a much better and more inexpensive option for you.

With regards to changing up subs what we are refering to is "downgrading" your subs so to speak. Getting something more along the lines of a stamped basket sub or lower level sub rather than the HD3 that you have now.

I did 47 legal with 2 SX 10s and 40.1 @ .7 @ 44hz, i think the HDC3s can prolly get close in ur trunk but not a 48 legal car off

Do you have any USACI shows up there, or like you said MECA so you can open ur door and get a lil higher score

O yea, the 40.1s thats what you had. Well im gonna keep looking around to see what i can find.

Digging up this thread again. Im thinking i might run an AB 400.1. Are the 400.1's pretty good or should i go with something a lil bigger?
