IA 20.1, fine for street A?

You don't even want to know how much the elite 12 is. lets just say you can get 2 setsom 7k2d's for the same price.
that might very well be but at this point its probably thee amp to have in Street A

of course only time will tell.. but the numbers dont lie thus far

This is correct if they would share power numbers but no one does. SPL numbers only carry so much weight.

99 lumina in street A is going to be a trek and a half. A lot of info to get loud is semi shared for cars like the crx, explorer and other hatchback/suvs. Trunk cars on the other hand can get tricky.

Well, im getting to the point of buying an S10. Soon i will. Then i will have a good setup. Like i said, im just gonna be competing locally. I think what im gonna do is compete in amateur classes this year and move up next year to db drag Street a. Then i will have a better car, more money, and i shoudl have a ton more knowledge by then.

One thing don't lie, the second place trophey is perfectly fine. Twelve more inches of trophey aint worth a couple grand more for the amp.

If you are going to get an S-10 talk to Tommy as he competes in the Midwest area with a regular cab s 10. If it is an extended cab you will have to work around the interior without hurting rear seats and so forth. Meca might be more kind

what do you mean with this?

you know that this isnt about first place or second place trophies..

when you're on a National and International level you do what you have to do to win.. This is not something that the vast majority of people would do.

I understand what you're saying bro but things are on a larger scale now.

being the best has taken on new meaning now..especially the the doors on a worldwide level now.

you do what you can.. and do within your means.

thats why there are various levels of competition from local to regional and national to international..

you already know of the new things coming up in the particular category I told you about..

that could be a possibility //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

you're more than welcome to get your *** up north of the border if you want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

did you get the email I sent you by the way?

You can rest assured if I do what we talked about I plan to win.
Anyhow, back to the OP. What are your desires? Then we can help you more.
Hmm, I basically wanna get loud. And compete. My subs are set in stone. Two 10" AQ hdc3's. What should i compete in and what amp, batt combo should i run. Im considering keeping the amp tho and waiting for someone to buy it. Then getting an AB 400.1 on Caco. My goal is 148(this is a goal, therefore it is not easy)

good luck.. I look forward to seeing it first hand hopefully.

as for the OP.. work with what you've got pretty much.

work within your budget first and foremost and if your budget allows

then upgrade accordingly.

just to clarify you are in now way willing to change up your subs...correct?

if thats the case then your best bet is to upgrade your amp as best as you can

and get yourself a good batt (one of the ones mentioned earlier in the post)

and test and test
