IA 20.1, fine for street A?

I am planning on running an IA 20.1 on 2 10" HDC310's @ .25ohm for street A in comps. Do you think this amp will take it? If not, do you think i would have enough power @ 1 ohm? I didnt think i would but no one seems to want this in a trade for a bigger amp(makes sence). How long will the amp last at .25 ohm?

BTW, this is the older version of the amp(the better one)

Even at .25 ohm. People say they can get 2700-3000 on decent electrical at .5 ohm. Wonder what it would do at .25 ohm.

Well, you have to think, Street A is car off, and one battery.

3000rms is about all your going to get from a 20.1 at 12volts regardless of ohm load.

I was really hoping to run like 2000watts to each sub, but its not possible from this amp. I wil do ok locally i think tho

You will NOT get 3000 watts from a 20.1 at 12v.

As I already told you with car off and a 650 square batt you aren't getting over 1500 watts from that amp.

change subs and do street stock. same batt as street a. but car on.

20.1 can go lower then .25 if I remeber it' can do .125 this might work for you if you have the battery. nsb-kinetik-powermaster but only for burp's then charge the battery. I've ran my 2 40.1's on 1 nsb90 @.25 each they didnt likeit when I rolled the volume and If i went from 15-16 volume they would protect. i have also bassraced with more power @ .25 they did alright but was real touchy with the volume.going up and down with it they would protect. the IA amp's are no joke going from 1 ohm to .25 i gained 1.7 db

I read the whole thread. Nowhere did I see someone get 3000 watts @ 12v, especially on one batt.

It's a good amp, and if it's all you can afford then ok. change subs.

Now that, would be awesome if i could. I actually got offers on a 4k2d but i have 2 dual 1ohm subs. Can only wire to 4ohm, 1ohm, or .25 ohm. How bout a Memphis 4k? You think that would be ok? I really need something fairly efficient tho for Street A cuz you can only have one batt.
