IA 10.1 ....1/2 ohm daily?

About to install my IA 10.1 and also order subs. Need to see if 1/2 ohm is ok on a daily basis with it. Need to know before ordering subs.

Some will say yes, some will say no. It's your gear, running at 1/2 an ohm is a risk and you can either accept the risk or play it safe.

Because I know some amps can run just fine at lower than rated ohm load,while others pop very quickly.

I guess I'm asking for input from someone who has actual hands on experience with this particular amp.

Its an IA amp and they are known for that. If you have the electrical for it you should be fine

Well his amp, his $. Something were to happen on that low of an ohm, and if he bought it new, doubt warranty will cover it.

Idk about these newer ones tho, particularly the smaller ones. 0.5 should be fine. But you accept the risk
