Right now I have my amps mounted to the back seat and it just doesn't fit right, I was wondering if mounting them to the box with two 10"s is a bad idea due to the vibes.
Car amps are designed to handle vibration. And if your sub box vibrates enough to hurt your amp, it's not thick enough.Originally posted by F16Fxer4real Its usually not wise to mount amps to the sub box because of vibration issues.

No matter how sturdy you build your box you are still introducing vibration into the base of your amp that WILL shorten it's life. You want to dampen the amp as much as you can. Mounting to a sub box is not a good idea. Everyone has an opinion. Mine just happens to be right. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif
Is the back of a box much different than the top, front, or sides? I don't quite understand why it would be...course, I'm new, so if I don't understand no big suprise lolOriginally posted by natem33 However, I have mounted 5 or 6 other amps that I have used to the back of sub boxes without any problems.
