I want to hair trick with a single 12

If I tear spiders Ill just recone it. A tline would likely take up too much space. I thought about standing the box up temporarily to try sub back at an angle and port to the side at an angle facing forward. I feel like a TI basket would get me where I want, the current 12 spoke is limiting this sub for sure. well the spiders are. it wont bottom out, just hits the spider limits.

05 XXX's use xbl^2. BL drops off significantly above xmax. I think you might be disappointed with your idea of bolting a higher clearance basket to it to try and push the motor further than it was designed to.

It was rebuilt by PSI with nonstandard parts, but I will take that into consideration

If you ask PSI, Im confident he will tell you the same thing.

Well im not saying youre wrong. the person who rebuilt it bought softparts and built it up himself. not to factory spec, i suspect its limited. if thats not the case ill build a different sub
